đ How to Plan the BEST Week Ever
A No-Fluff, All-Fire Guide for Actually Getting Your Life Together
đ Hard Pill To Swallow...
If youâve got big dreams, messy notes, ten open tabs, a to-do list that could wrap around the planet, and the desire to finally get on top of it allâŚ
âŚbut you donât want to start something just to give up. Again.
Youâre ready to reset, refocus, and actually enjoy your week while making real progress, this guide is for you. â¨
â¨
đ§ Step 1: The 80/20 Weekly Review
Before you start planning, stop and reflect.
Seriouslyâthis is your secret weapon.
âď¸ Ask yourself:
-
What worked last week? (This is your 20% that actually moved the needleâdo more of that!)
-
What didnât work? (This is your 80% busy-but-pointless energyâditch or delegate it.)
-
Whatâs one win you want to celebrate? (Yes, even if itâs âI got out of bed.â A win is a win.)
This gives you clarity on what to keep, what to toss, and what to focus on this week.
đŻ Step 2: Set ONE Main Goal (Then Break It Down)
Thatâs rightâjust one.
When everythingâs a priority, nothing is. So pick one that actually matters this week.
Then break it into Min / Main / Max goals so you win no matter what.
Level | What It Means | Example |
---|---|---|
MIN | The âbare minimumâ version | Walk for 5 minutes |
MAIN | What you plan to accomplish | 30-minute workout 3x/week |
MAX | If lifeâs running smooth | 3-5 workouts + new class |
This method meets you where you areâon high-energy days AND on âI canâtâ days.
𧊠Step 3: Use the 5-Part Weekly Planning Framework
Break your week into these categories so your life actually feels balanced:
-
đ§ Health â How are you taking care of your mind & body this week?
- Plan this FIRST! Add it to a weekly planner or overview of WHEN you will do this!
-
â¤ď¸ Relationships â Who are you showing up for? (Donât forget you count too!)
- Plan this SECOND! Write down when you will make that call, send that text, or meet up with that person! Add this to your weekly planner or overview next
-
đĽ Personal Goal â That big dream? Yep, this is where it lives.
- Your dreams need your time! So give yourself time to work on your dreams! Add what you will do and when you will do it to the weekly overview third. Now your overview will start to fill up!
-
đ Requirements â Appointments, errands, anything you must do.
- What are the things you HAVE to do? If you won't get fired, sick, or cause serious damage to your life... it can wait! Write down all your appointments, obligations, and requirements in your weekly overview!
- BEFORE MOVING ON: Review your week. Are there any days that are extra/unrealistically busy? Are you trying to do too much back-to-back? Don't forgot you need time to rest, plan, and live life. This is your change to adjust!
-
𧽠To-Dos â Everything else (and remember: not all of these are urgent).
- Now with the space you have left write out what else need to get done fo the week. This helps you to avoid productive procrastination! If things do need to get done and you don't have space (like cleaning or picking up the kids) - don't forget to delgate and ask for help!
- NOTE: Yes, you may have push back. Yes, people may complain. Yes, you might even feel guitly for not 'doing it yourself. And yes... you would have done it better... Let your dreams be more important than being pefect. 𫶠(a note from a former perfectionist)
đ Step 4: Time Block Like a Boss (No, Itâs Not Rigid)
Now that you know what matters, block time for it.
Not to control your every secondâbut to make space for what actually matters.
-
Use âTheme Daysâ (e.g. Mondays = admin, Wednesdays = creative, Sundays = reset)
-
Batch your tasks (Errands go together. Creative time gets a full hour. No more tab-switching chaos.)
-
Schedule rest like it's a non-negotiable appointment (Because it is.)
đ Step 5: Create Your Reset Ritual
Lifeâs gonna life. The week might get messy. But that doesnât mean you failed.
Instead, plan built-in checkpoints to reset when needed:
-
Midweek check-in: Whatâs working? Whatâs not?
-
End-of-week reset: Celebrate a win. Let go of what didnât get done.
-
New week, new vibes: No guilt. Just lessons + momentum.
⨠Optional (but Powerful): Design Your âBest Weekâ Vision
If you could wave a magic wand and live your dream weekâwhat would it look like?
-
What time would you wake up?
-
How would your morning feel?
-
What kind of work would you be doing?
-
Who would you spend time with?
-
What would you do just for you?
Now... how can you add one tiny piece of that into this week?
Because the secret is:
You donât have to wait to live your dream life.
You just have to start planning like itâs possible. đŤ
If youâre tired of:
â Trying to do it all and still feeling behind
â Starting strong and falling off a week later
â Drowning in to-dos instead of building your dream life
Then this is your next step.
